Welcome!
Here’s a little of what I do and a lot of what I love.
My Story
As a dedicated Journalism Graduate with hands-on experience covering NFL, College Football, Basketball, and the Technical aspects of sports, I am passionate about storytelling and sports journalism. Over the past year, I’ve contributed to top-tier media outlets like CBS and NBC, honing my skills in reporting, writing, and live event coverage.
My experiences as a student-athlete at Eastern Michigan and Michigan State, alongside my freelance work, have sharpened my abilities in teamwork, leadership, and communication. I’ve developed a deep understanding of how to manage time effectively, set and achieve goals, and collaborate under pressure—skills that I bring to every project I take on.
I’m currently seeking the next opportunity where I can apply my sports journalism skills, elevate storytelling, and further develop as a versatile reporter.

"Nobody is working harder than Lexy Alston. Superstar on all fronts. Killing it as a professional - believe she will be a sports broadcast superstar because of her dedication to her craft. And just a joy to have in class no matter what we are doing. Leads by example in whatever she is doing."
